A paparazzi photographer has filed a $2.5 million (£1.25 million) lawsuit against actor Woody Harrelson claiming the star broke his camera and assaulted him two years ago.
MSN UK cites court documents showing Josh Levine was working for celebrity website TMZ.com when he was filming Harrelson in Hollywood in June 2006.
Mr Levine claims the actor broke his video camera, choked him and instructed his bodyguard to attack him also.
No official comment has yet been made by Harrelson or his representatives regarding the law suit.
Mr Levine alleges he still suffers mental, physical and emotional pain as a result of the incident and he has also filed a lawsuit against the unnamed bodyguard.
Harrelson is currently filming a number of differing projects and was last seen in Will Ferrell's basketball comedy Semi-Pro.
Last year, he also starred in the Oscar-winning No Country for Old Men.
